Charles Rutland

Charles Rutland, age 76, of Powder Springs (Paulding Co.), GA, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Charles was born on September 9, 1939, in Cartersville, GA, to the late Clearance & LouDell Rutland. His greatest joy and accomplishment was his family, and he greatly loved all of his many friends. Charles was truly a farmer at heart. He cherished his over 60 years with Greystone, and years on the Board as a director. Charles served on the RC&D Council & was a member of the Cattlemen Association. He was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret Ruth Murdock Rutland; son, Charles Edward Rutland, Jr. & wife, Brooke of Guntersville, AL; daughter, Sharon Cason & husband, Mitchell of Hiram, GA, Lynn Zirpoli & husband, Mark of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Zirpoli & wife, Gina of Dallas, GA, Michelle Adams & husband, Kyle of Kingston, GA, Megan Cason of Hiram, GA, Bryson Charles Rutland of Guntersville, AL, Sadie Brooke Rutland of Guntersville, AL; great-grandchildren, Kevin Hernandez, Kinley Zirpoli, Ryleigh Zirpoli, Noah Adams, Carly Adams, & Lilly Adams; several nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at Paulding Memorial Gardens, with family officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 11, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
