Charles Jerry Whitlow

Charles Jerry Whitlow, age 82 of Hiram, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 7, 1939, to his late parents, Clarence Eugene and Beatrice Opal Whitlow in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Whitlow attended Gospel Light Church in Blue Ridge, GA and retried as President of Georgia Carolina Glass after working there for over 22 years. Jerry loved to travel and was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and spend time at the family home in Blue Ridge, GA.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Michelle Whitlow and grandson, Joshua Moore.

Mr. Whitlow is survived by his loving wife of over 63 years, Katherine Whitlow; son, Charles Keith Whitlow of Hiram, GA, Kevin Whitlow of Hiram, GA; daughters, Deborah Lynn Whitlow Shope Brewer and her husband Christopher of Sandbrook, AL, Cindy Darlene Whitlow Bowman and her husband Keith of Dallas GA; grandchildren, Crissy, Misty, Amanda, Matthew, Amber, Melissa, Cody, Kyle, Robbie, Marie, Tony, Casey; twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. Whitlow will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dwayne Hewitt and Pastor Doug Hewitt officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
