Charles D. Woodham, age 89, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. He was born on November 25, 1929, in Dundee FL, to the late Wilbur & Ruby Woodham, and was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Sharon Woodham and granddaughter, Shayna Cook. Mr. Woodham was a United States Army veteran and retired as a fireman after 35 years of service with Lockheed Martin. He was a member of Pickett’s Mill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gladys Woodham of Dallas, GA; sons, Charles Woodham of Georgia, David (Teri) Woodham of Texas, and Glenn (Becky) Woodham of Texas; daughter, Susan (Bill) Coppenger of Tennessee, Robyn Woodham of Georgia and Sonya (Mark) Pepper of Georgia; brother, Wilson (Marlene) Woodham of Georgia; brother-in-law, James Thomas; sister-in-laws, Rose Fuller and Bonnie (Leslie) English; brother-in-law, Rob Zimmerman; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 12 PM, at Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Steve Slusher officiating. Interment will follow on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 10 AM, at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 11 AM until the time of service.
