Charlie Taylor, Jr

Charlie Taylor, Jr., age 62, of Hiram, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013. He was born November 12, 1950, in Barlove, Mississippi, and was preceded in death by his parents, Son & Katie Taylor; wife, DeLois Foster Taylor; brother, Tommie “Hammer” Taylor; and sister, Minnie Hobbs. Mr. Taylor was retired from the General Motors Company.
Survivors include his daughters, Conchata Taylor of Hiram, GA and Charleia Taylor of Hiram, GA; siblings, Evelyn Bonney of Detroit, MI, Bennie & Catherine Wise of Arcola, MS, John O’Neal of Detroit, MI, Rosie & Lonnie Strickland of Arcola, MS, and Son & Debra Taylor of Detroit, MI; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 11:00 AM, from Life Changes Church in Douglasville, GA, with Pastor Roderick Murray officiating. Mr. Taylor will lie-in-state at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, on Monday, May 13, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
