Christopher Rakestraw

Christopher Rakestraw, age 53, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. He was born on August 13, 1967 to Larry Rakestraw and Venita Lambert. Christopher enjoyed working on cars as a mechanic, fishing, and listening to music. Chris is survived by his mother; Venita Lambert, father; Larry Rakestraw, brother; Jeff (Stacy) Rakestraw, sister; Jenni Bagby, stepbrother; Carter Dunaway, nieces; Haley Romines and Hannah Chasteen, three great nephews; R.J., Apollo, and Cannon.

Memorial Services for Mr. Rakestraw will be graveside at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Rackley officiating.

If attending the service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Rakestraw safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
