Christopher T. Woods

Christopher T. Woods, 57, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2024. Born on May 22, 1967, in Flatwoods, KY, he was the son of the late Michael and Wanda Stamper. Christopher was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew him.

Christopher had a passion for anything with four wheels, particularly hot rods and classic cars. He cherished spending time with his family, especially delighting in watching his grandchildren ride dirt bikes and four-wheelers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry Woods.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Christy Woods; his sons, Cody (Macey) Woods and Casey (Mary) Woods; his daughter, Caity Woods; his brother, Michael Stamper; and his grandchildren, Charlie Woods, McKinlyn Woods, Freeman Childers, Whitley Woods, and Westi Woods, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12, 2024, beginning at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in Sam Clark Chapel, with Pastor Todd Chatham officiating. Christopher will be laid to rest at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery immediately after the service.

The family invites anyone attending the service who owns a hot rod to bring it to the funeral home for the procession, honoring Christopher's deep love for these classic vehicles

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.

Christopher's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace and live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
