Clarence Harold Nowell

Clarence Harold Nowell passed away on September 4, 2022. He was born on October 10, 1938 to the late Morgan and Hazel Nowell. Clarence was a devoted member of New Vision Baptist Church and loved serving his church. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and spending time with his many animals. Clarence was a wonderful man who will continue to be very loved and dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dot Nowell; his stepfather, Ode Nowell; son, Ricky Nowell; daughter, Rhonda Nowell; brother, Vic Nowell; and sister, Sarah Durham. He is survived by his son, Eddie (Kristy) Jones; daughter, Penny Crider; son-in-law, Duaine "Critter" Crider; brothers, John (Doris) Nowell, Cecil (Lou) Nowell; sisters, Hazel Mae (Buddy) Bozeman, Linda (Ricky) Robertson, Dot (Tom) Durham; grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Crider, Danny (Brittany) Crider, Courtney (Austin) Smith; great-grandchildren, Eli, Lacey, Samuel, John, and Oliver.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services for Mr. Nowell will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 8, 2022 beginning at 11:00am with Pastor George Hill and Pastor Daniel Joiner officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with Kaleb Acker, Adam Scarborough, Donald Napier, Lee Harris, Eddie Smith, Marvin Shavers, and Robbie Burr serving as pallbearers.
