Clarence Richard Walraven

Clarence Richard “Ricky” Walraven, age 68, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Wellstar Paulding. Mr. Walraven was born on November 9, 1952 to his late parents, Clarence and Margie Walraven. Ricky worked for the city of Hiram as a Street Superintendent for more that 40 years. Ricky and his wife Wanda Lynn married on August 6, 1972 in Dallas, GA. and have two children. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister; Kathy Walraven, brothers; John Jeffery Walraven and Terry Turner.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife; Wanda Lynn Lawler, daughter; Penny Leigh Lochamy of Dallas, GA., son; Richard Nathan Walraven of Dallas, GA., sisters; Kay Walraven Lee, Becky Walraven Dempsey, Sheila Walraven Ferguson, grandchildren; Sarah Lochamy, Savannah Lochamy, Levi Walraven, Ethan Walraven, and Darian Dickinson, great-grandchild; Layla Walraven, along with several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service for Ricky will be on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of service.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Walraven safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
