Claude Edward Hart

Claude Edward Hart, age 94, of College Park, GA, passed away on September 6, 2020 at Powder Springs Rehab Center. He was born on August 15, 1926 in Leesburg, GA, to his late parents; Ike and Mattie Hart. Claude was retired from Gordon Transport Company, where he worked as a truck driver for over 30 years. Mr. Hart was a United States Army Veteran and Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Naomie Hart and his 10 brothers and sisters.

Mr. Hart is survived by his daughter, Sandra Hopkins of Snellville, GA, grandchildren, Shannon Hopkins of Roswell, GA, Adam Hopkins and his wife, Sarah of Loganville, GA, great grandchildren; Nathan Hopkins, Lee Patrick Hopkins and Grace Hopkins.

A Graveside service for Mr. Hart will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at College Park Cemetery at 11:30 Am with Mr. Adam Hopkins officiating.
