Clint Davis, age 77, of the Yorkville Community (Paulding County), passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008. He was born in Hiram, GA, on June 1, 1930, and was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie S. Davis & Eunice Bell Davis. Mr. Davis owned Davis Auto Parts, and owned Mableton Janitorial Services for 25 years. He retired from Lockheed, where he was an electrician for 9 years.
Survivors include his wife, Alene Alexander Davis of Rockmart; sons & daughters-in-law, Mike & Sharon Davis of Temple, Larry & Julie Davis of Douglasville, and Robert Davis of Rockmart; daughter & son-in-law, Karen & Larry Millwood of Acworth; brothers & sister-in-law, Ted Davis of Lineville, AL, and Lawson & Jean Davis of Chester Township, Michigan; brother-in-law, Albert Alexander of Powder Springs; sisters-in-law, Jerrie Ferris and Ruby Kline, both of Powder Springs; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Tommy Paine and Mr. Dan Colburn officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Springs City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
