Clinton Ruff, age 67, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012. He was born on August 23, 1944, in Dallas, GA, to the late Horace and Isabelle Ruff, and was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Ruff and Delbert Ruff, and an infant sister. Mr. Ruff worked as a land surveyor and was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years Wanda Ragan Ruff of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristy & Tony Fitzgerald of Dallas, and Kacy & Wesley Bennett of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hoyt & Harriett Ruff of Dallas; Howell “Tobar” & Dot Ruff of Dallas; five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Hershel Tibbitts and Reverend Travis Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. Jack Walker, Al Walker, Sonny Black, Charles Burt, Gary Ruff, and Jimmy Crew will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 21, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
