Cory Gabriel Bailey ("Wood") Clancy

Cory Gabriel Bailey Clancy “Wood”, age 26, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1994. Cory was a recent employee of Dallas Mill Works in Hiram, GA and a Marine of 6 years. He was known by his friends and family to do great voice-overs for almost everything. In his spare time, he played Dungeons and Dragons, made D.M. screens, and liked Harry Potter. Cory was a firm believer in God and was loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger and his smile lit up any room he was in. Cory also was an avid karaoke singer.

Cory is survived by his parents, John J. Clancy IV and Catherine E. J. Clancy; brother, Anthony W. Parris; great uncle, John F. Diemer; and niece Allison Rose Parris; and his faithful dog, Bach.

Funeral Services for Mr. Clancy will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Anthony Parris, John Clancy, and Catherine Clancy reading a eulogy. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Park in Hiram, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns. If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that face masks be worn and that social distancing be practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Clancy safe.
