It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Allester Phillip Sr., a devoted husband, father, and friend, who peacefully departed this life on January 17, 2025, at the age of 54.
Born on March 22, 1970, in St. Thomas to Thomas and Ilva Phillip, Craig was a beacon of light whose radiant smile and uplifting presence brought joy to all who knew him. He was a man of many passions-his enthusiasm for cars, his love for dogs, and his zest for life were both inspiring and contagious. Above all, Craig was defined by his love for people. He was a steadfast pillar of support, always reaching out to check on family and friends, offering encouragement, and showing up during both moments of triumph and times of need.
Craig's kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. He gave freely of his time and his heart, living a life rooted in love, service, and meaningful connection. His legacy is a testament to the power of selflessness and the impact of living with purpose.
Craig is survived by his beloved wife of nine years, Kayyon Harley-Phillip; his children: Craig Jr., Kahdaija, Tabrian, Kayden, Chanae, Quiannah; his grandchildren: Cahlayah, Kemari, Khloe, Gian, Kian, Zenas Jr and Elijah; his mother, Ilva Phillip; his siblings: Loucilla J. Phillip, Shaughna Phillip Robinson, and Cheno Phillip; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Craig is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Phillip, and his daughter Rahjainee.
The family invites loved ones to honor Craig's memory during a visitation at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
A celebration of his life will follow at 2:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tiffany Brown.
Clark Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the services for Mr. Phillip's family during this time of loss.
Craig's light will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing.
