David Denton

David Denton, age 59, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born on October 3, 1958, in Marietta, GA. Mr. Denton was a United States Army Veteran and retired after 26 years from Coviden where he worked as a manager. David was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and an all around rock for his family.

Survivors include wife of 37 years, Treisha Denton of Dallas, GA; son, Jeremy & Jennifer Denton of Dallas, GA; daughter, Jessica & Ryan Purmort of Dallas, GA; parents, J.P. & Fredericca Denton of Douglasville, GA; brothers, Dorsey & Kim Denton of Douglasville, GA, and Donnie & Renee Denton of Dallas, GA; sister, Nickii & David Cochran of New Mexico; grandchildren, Cody Purmort, Gage Crawford, Tae Taylor, Kaleigh Purmort, and Anson Denton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Joey Meeks officiating. Interment will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery. Blake Sims, Austin Sims, Terry Mote, Lee Robinson, Sam Ruff, Chad Mosley, Matt Harris and Jesse McDonald will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
