David Cary “De Cee” Hamrick, age 62, of Douglasville, GA passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012. He was born on April 7, 1950 in Atlanta, GA to James Mayfield and Hazel Hamrick. Mr. Hamrick was preceded in death by his father James Mayfield Hamrick. Mr. Hamrick worked as an I.T. Technician for Lucent Technologies for over 30 years.
Survivors include his mother, Hazel Robertson Hamrick; wife of 39 years, Dianne Hamrick; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane & David Wilson of Gainesville, GA, Michelle & Bruce Hicks of Douglasville, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, William & Anna Hamrick of Gainesville, GA; sister, Brenda Crowder of Gainesville, GA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Doug Hicks officiating.
