David "Rick" Nichols, age 57, of Cave Spring, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010. He was born on June 21, 1952, in Cartersville, GA, to the late Miles & Lillian Nichols. Mr. Nichols was a member of Narroway Baptist Church.
Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Thomas A. & Wonda Nichols of Dallas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen & Neil Rainwater of Dallas, and Cathy & Keith Plunk of Rockmart.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., from Narroway Baptist Church, with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts officiating. The music will be provided by Jimmy Tibbitts & Family and Jody Palmer. Jared Rainwater, Blake Corley, Spencer Ashworth, Jody Palmer, Donald Nichols & Sipe Thomason will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
