David Shellhorse

David "Pops" Shellhorse passed away on February 27, 2023. He was born on March 12, 1940 to the late Ed and Inez Shellhorse. David was a member of Draketown Baptist Church and his faith meant everything to him. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his family. He cared deeply for his children and grandchildren and loved each of them.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn Shellhorse; his sons, David Barton Shellhorse and Gregory Hagerty; and all his siblings, Howard Shellhorse, Myers Shellhorse, Sue Johnson, Martha Hobbs, and Ann Bradley.

David is survived by his granddaughter, Lana (Tyler) Baxter and her children, Jordan and Huntley Baxter; David's daughters, Debbie Langley and Phyliss Kendall; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Funeral services for Mr. Shellhorse will begin at 3:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery.
