David Shipp

David Romaine Shipp, age 62, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was born on January 10, 1950 in Austell, GA. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Hiram First Baptist Church. He retired from Octanorm USA in Lithia Springs, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Ann Shipp.
Survivors include his daughter, Melinda Diane Roberts and her husband Marque of Douglasville, GA; his father, J.R. Shipp of Mableton, GA; his sister, Sherry Mulkey of Rydal, GA; his grandchild, Savannah Rose Roberts of Douglasville, GA; his nephew, Douglas Neese of Rydal, GA; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Reverend Steve Foster officiating. The interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
