David Joe Williams

David Joe Williams was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was born on April 23, 1936, and peacefully passed away on January 20, 2024.

David was a hardworking individual who dedicated his life to the field of carpentry. He was known for his exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to his craft. With his strong work ethic and expertise, he left a lasting impact on the projects he undertook.

An outdoors man at heart, David Joe found solace and joy in various outdoor activities. Hunting and fishing were among his greatest passions. As an excellent marksman, he had a deep respect and love for firearms.

In addition to his love for the outdoors, David Joe also had a fondness for metal detecting and gardening. He took pleasure in uncovering hidden treasures and nurturing his plants with care and dedication. David had a knack for storytelling and was a notorious prankster, always bringing laughter and joy to those around him.

Known for his exceptional sharpening skills, David Joe could transform a dull blade into a shining masterpiece. His ability and attention to detail were greatly admired by all who witnessed this craft.

David Joe will be deeply missed by his surviving relatives. He leaves behind his loving wife of 68 years Mary Ann Eason Williams; his sons, Dave Williams and Rex Williams; and his grandchildren, Jonah (Kiersten) Williams, Mitchell (Cristin) Williams and Shea (William) Pauly. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Rowan Pauly and Ryken Pauly.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. 

The Funeral Service for David Joe will be held in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jason Duren officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel UMC Cemetery with Jonah Williams, Mitchell Williams, William Pauly and Jody Williams serving as pall bearers.

David Joe Williams will forever be cherished in our memories for his hard work, love for the outdoors, sharp wit, and dedication to his family. May he rest in eternal peace.
