Dell Ernest Wade, age 64, of Powder Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. He was born March 5, 1944, in Austell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manciel & Connie Wade, son, Captain James Darren Wade and brother, Harold Wade. Mr. Wade was a Viet Nam Veteran of the U. S. Air Force, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Becky Wade of Stockbridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda & Mike Ross of Hiram, and Jennifer & Rodney Jordan of Powder Springs; former wife, Sandra Woods of Villa Rica; brothers & sisters-in-law, Clark & Shirley Wade of Austell, Allan & Nancy Wade of Loganville, Bobby & Linda Wade of Elijay, and Danny & Bonnie Wade of Hiram; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from Clark Funeral Home, on Friday, June 20, 2008, at 2:00pm, with Reverend Lee Lawrence and Reverend Roger Clonts officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
