Delores Ellis, 76, of Dallas, GA passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born on March 21, 1944 in Parsons, TN to the late Elmer Enlo and Hazel Louise Laster Vise. Mrs. Ellis was a caring and loving homemaker raising her 3 daughters. She was Christian by faith and was a member of Elevate Christian Church in Hiram, GA. Delores was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt who will be missed by many.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by daughters; Tammy Lynn Ellis, Zina Ellis (Scott) Cole, Kelda Jean Ellis (William “ Tuffy”) Williams; sister, Sandra Gail Vise-Fowler; brother Carl Enlo (Jackie) Vise; grandchildren, Ellis Gabriél “Gabby” Williams (Stephen) Galloway, Annabelle Victoria Williams, David Scott Cole, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Dempsey Ellis.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 4:00 pm in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Hiram, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. A private service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at a later date.
