Denise Clayton, age 60, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born on October 3, 1960 in Douglasville, GA, to her parents; Richard and Barbara Eubanks. Mrs. Clayton was retired from Wellstar Douglas Hospital, where she worked as a patient assistant for 25 years. Denise loved spending time with her family, her grandbabies where her life. Mrs. Clayton was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Eubanks.

Mrs. Clayton is survived by her loving husband, Billy Clayton of Douglasville, GA, son, Chad (Marissa) Clayton of Dallas, GA, daughter, Amanda (David) Reese of Dallas, GA, mother, Barbara Eubanks of Douglasville, GA, brother, Ricky Eubanks of Douglasville, GA, sister, Arlene (Johnny) Clayton of Douglasville, GA, grandchildren; Hannah Reese, Sarah Reese and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Clayton will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Bryan Clayton, Shane Clayton, Chris Jones, David Gresham, Larry Cothran and Casey Gall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Clayton safe.
