Dennis Ervin Leonard

Dennis Ervin Leonard, age 64, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. He was born on December 27, 1955 in Atlanta, GA, to his late parents; Alford and JoAnne Leonard. Dennis was retired from The Southern Company, where he worked as a storeroom clerk for the line department for 30 years. He later worked for Cobb County School System in the transportation department for 16 years, which he also retired from. Mr. Leonard was a member of West Ridge Church and he loved his pets, coffee and milk. Dennis was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and pet dad. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Denise Leonard of Dallas, GA, children; Kristie Powers and her husband, Steve of Acworth, GA, Jason Leonard and his wife, Tiffany of Panama City, FL, Tyler Leonard and his wife, Jamiella of Dallas, GA, sister, Brenda Chumbley and her husband, Ron of Dawsonville, GA, grandchildren; Kaitlyn Powers, Madison Powers, Abigail Leonard, Skyler Scott, Amaya Scott, and his special pets, Ryker,  Rizzo, Jazzy and Milo.

In accordance to Mr. Leonard’s wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
