Dolores S. Humphries, age 75, of Dallas, GA., passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on February 25, 1942 in Acworth, GA., to the late Edward Sr. and Ruby Sorrells. Mrs. Humphries was a homemaker and a member of Fortified Hills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Mercer Wellborn Humphries, her parents, her sister, Gloria Wade, and her brother, Edward Ray Sorrells Jr.
Survivors include her sons; David (Deborah) Humphries of Dallas, GA., Greg (Dana) Humphries of Dallas, GA., her daughter, Kelly (Lynn) Bandy of Dallas, GA., her sisters; Joyce Sorrells of Dallas, GA., Edwina Andrews of Canton, GA., her grandchildren; Natalie (Josh) McLaughlin, Patrick Bandy, Madeline Bandy, Hannah Humphries, Aaron Humphries, Ted Humphries, Victoria Waddell, and Colin Winslette, and two nieces.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dolores S. Humphries will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017at 2:00 PM from the Clark funeral home chapel with Reverend Donald Voyles officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be; Scott Ragsdale, Tim Martin, Ricky Mayfield, Todd Mayfield, Dwayne Howell and Henry Thomas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
