Donald Crew

Donald Crew, age 76, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was born on August 7, 1942, in Dallas, GA, to the late Robert Edward and Parry Lee Eidson Crew. Mr. Crew retired after 30 years of service as a supervisor for Georgia Department of Agriculture. Donald was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where he served as deacon for many years and also served as clerk for several years.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gail Crew of Dallas, GA; son, Bill & wife Melissa Crew of Warsaw, Poland; grandson, Logan Crew & wife Sophie Spirkl of Princeton Junction, NJ; sisters-in-law Jane Hicks & husband Richard, and Holly Tolbert and husband Ricky, all of Dallas, GA; and three nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 11 AM, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Tibbitts and Rev. Hershel Tibbitts officiating. Pallbearers were Art Crew, Derek Eidson, Jim Hicks, Peter Hitchcock, Jody Palmer, and Phil Penegar; honorary pallbearer was Jimmy Crew. Interment followed in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
