Donna J. O'Brien

Donna Jean O'Brien of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the age of 69. Mrs. O'Brien was born November 7, 1951 to Martin Berry and Mary Thomas in Columbus, OH. She married the love of her life, James O'Brien, in 1996 and together with Mr. O'Brien, enjoyed raising her family. Mrs. O'Brien was selfless and always put everyone else's needs above her own. She enjoyed being a HAM radio operator alongside her husband and she had a passion for photography as well. Donna's kind and loving spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Mrs. O'Brien is preceded in death by her parents, Martin Berry and Mary Thomas Smith; daughter, Cherie Dawn Barber; brother, Martin Berry; and sister, Brenda Ponn. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James O'Brien of Dallas, GA; sons, Ronnie Lee Barber of Cartersville, GA, and Brian (Keaundra) Barber of Dallas, GA; sister, Sonya Smith of Newark, OH; and grandchildren, Christopher, Shylee, Layla and Gabriel Barber.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. Funeral services will follow directly afterward, beginning at 4:00pm, also at Clark Funeral Home. Burial at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA will be scheduled at a later date.
