Dorothy Louise Butler

Dorothy Louise Butler, age 80, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was born on May 5, 1938, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Bennie H. Polk and Jane Jackson, and was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Polk. Mrs. Butler was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Villa Rica, GA.

Survivors include husband of 64 years, J.C. Butler of Dallas, GA; sons, Steve & Ramona Butler of Dallas, GA, Lonnie & Anna Butler of Cantonment, FL, Ricky & Linda Butler of Dallas, GA, and Gary Butler of Dallas, GA; brothers, Richard & Linda Polk of Jackson, GA, and Jimmy Polk of Griffin, GA; sisters, Mary Jane Thacker of Snellville, GA, Jeanette Queen of Piedmont, AL, Betty & Marvin Sheriff of Atlanta, GA, and Annette Dawkins of Dahlonega, GA; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 4 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Eddie Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
