Dorothy Findley

Dorothy D. Findley passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1932, daughter of the late, Clyde Morris Dobbins and Louella Rogers Dobbins in Smyrna, Georgia.

Dorothy loved everyone. She was a mother and grandmother to anyone that needed one. Dorothy loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very smart and ambitious lady. She loved to learn. Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano, planting flowers, photography, camping, bowling, and skiing in her younger years. Dorothy Loved Jesus and loved to talk about it. She was a family woman and always put her family first.

Dorothy is preceded in death by husband, Roy B. Findley Sr.

She is survived by her son, David (Melissa) Findley, of Rockmart, Georgia; and three other sons; her grandchildren, Mitchell Findley, Cera (Mario) Morales, Christian (Nikole) Grimm, Brittany (Josh) Watson, Cory Findley, and many others; her great-grandchildren, Ariel Morales, Landon Grimm, Haylee Grimm, Jackson Scoggins, and many others.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Graveside Service for Dorothy will be held at Midway PCA Cemetery on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Midway Presbyterian Church.
