Dorothy Pearson

Dorothy "Dottie" Jane Pearson, age 76, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at her home.

Dottie was loved by so many and was known for having the kindest of hearts. She cared for so many people, and if you knew Dorothy, you knew love. She also loved her little canine companions, her beloved Chihuahua's. When Dottie was not spending time with her family, friends, or her pups, she could be found watching TV, specifically crime shows, which was her favorite.

Dottie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pearson, her son, Timothy "Timmy" Glenn Pearson, her parents, Paul Gilford, and Cleo Barton, and by her son-in-law, Stephen Anthony Bowlin.

Dottie is lovingly survived by her daughter, Annette Denise Bowlin, her son, Robert Phillip (Tracy) Pearson, her sisters, Paula Barton, and Helen Louise Barnes. Her grandchildren, Kevin Corey Bowlin, Stephen Chad Bowlin, Tiphanie Knikole Pearson, Jason Paul Pearson, Aaron Robert Pearson, William Glen Pearson, Kelly Marlena Pearson, and Christopher Glenn Pearson, will also miss their Nanny greatly.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A service for Dottie will be Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00pm at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel.

Dottie will be missed by so many, mostly by her family. She was the light of their lives that will forever burn.
