Dorothy 'Dot' (Kown) Perkins

Dorothy ‘Dot’ Kown Perkins, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019. She was born on September 22, 1928 in White, GA, to the late Charles and Nancy Kown. Mrs. Perkins was retired from Lockheed Martin where she worked as a clerk for many years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Dallas and apart of the Dallas Garden Club. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Wilbur Perkins, her parents, her 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Survivors include her son, Charles and Rita Perkins of Garden Ridge, TX, daughter, Angela Kay Perkins of Dallas, GA, sister, Myrtle Woodward of Dallas, GA, 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Perkins will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jonathan Woodward officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
