Dorothy Crowe Wingate, age 92, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. She was born on May 23, 1925, in Dallas, GA, to the late Edgar M. & Delia Walraven Crowe. Ms. Wingate worked in the carpet industry and was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Calhoun, GA.
Survivors include children, Debbie & Jackie Bickers of Dallas, GA, Ray & Cate McConnell of Sandy Springs, GA, Beth Wingate Black of Hallsville, TX; step-children, Bobby & Lee Wingate of Texas, and Tony & Wanda Wingate of Dalton, GA; brother, Loran & Marilyn Crowe of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Devon Bickers Lee, Blake McConnell, Jennifer Wingate, Matt Wingate, Nicole Wingate, and Jessie Wingate; great-grandchildren, Dalton Lee, Ren and Hopi; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Mr. Ray McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 13, 2017, from 1 PM until the time of service.
