Dot Priest, age 88, of Dallas, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1930 in Atlanta, GA, to the late Eugene Henderson and Ora Bell. Ms. Priest was Baptist by faith and a homemaker for over 40 years. She loved her Atlanta Braves, flowers, and her two cats, who had a special place in her heart, Rusty and Sissy. Dot was a great cook and taught her daughters how to cook. Ms. Priest never met a stranger a day in her life and loved her family dearly. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, J.D. Priest, parents, brothers; Billy Henderson, Wayne Henderson, infant brother, two grandsons; Michael Priest, Justin Priest and her great grandson, Carter Combs.

Survivors include her daughters; Judy Priest of Dallas, GA, Joan Priest of Canton, GA, Debbie Priest Richardson of Canton, GA, Sharon Priest of Dallas, GA, son, Jerry Priest of Dallas, GA, grandchildren; Brian Combs, Brandon Combs, Jacob Priest, great grandchildren; Lakelyn Lovett, Caroline Combs, great-great grandchildren; Rainy Lovett, Sky Lovett and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Ms. Priest will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Newton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
