Douglas Corley

Douglas Corley, age 74, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. He was born on May 14, 1945 in Dallas, GA, to his late parents; Amos and Florence Corley. Douglas worked as a clerical for over 30 years at ABF Freight Lines and was a faithful member of Narroway Baptist Church. Mr. Corley was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all of his wonderful family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Betty Corley of Dallas, GA, son, Michael Amos Corley of Dallas, GA, daughter, Wendy Hembree of Dallas, GA, brother, Edward Corley and his wife, Brenda of Dallas, GA, sisters; Naomi Holland of Dallas, GA, Catherine Wilson of Marietta, GA, Mary White of Dallas, GA, Virginia Casey of Dallas, GA, Rose Parker and her husband, Richard of Dallas, GA, Wanda Haight of Dallas, GA, Bonnie Morris of Dallas, GA, Audrey Baxter and her husband, Rick of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren; Bailey Landsittel, Emily Corley, Kaitlin Bires, Sydney Corley, great grandchild, Ella Grace Bires and many nieces and nephews.

A private Graveside Service for Mr. Douglas Corley will be held  at Dallas Memory Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Tibbitts officiating on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen; Daniel Casey, Patrick Haight, Richard Patrick, Ted Carpenter, Aaron Davis and Brent Chasteen. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to make it to the service in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.
