Dr. Leslie Ross, JR

Dr. Leslie Ross, JR, age 66, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born on April 26, 1949, in Victoria, TX, and was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Ross, SR, and sister, Deborah Ross Torry. Dr. Ross retired from Veterans Administration Hospital in Tuskegee, AL, as a medical doctor in 2002 after 30 years of service. He was a member of United States Public Health Service, Texas A&M University Alumni in College Station, TX, Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, and Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Tuskegee, AL.

Survivors include wife of 43 years, Dr. Dorothy Ann Moye Ross of Dallas, GA; son, Christopher Ross, SR ,and wife, Alisa, of Dallas, GA; daughter, Donmishette Ross of Los Angeles, CA; mother, Ruth Williams Ross of Victoria, TX; brothers, Bobby Ross, SR, and wife, Alice, of Victoria, TX, Leo Ross SR, and wife JoAnn, of Tivoli, TX, Alfred Ross of Victoria, TX, and Preston Ross, SR, and wife Kim, of Marion, Iowa; sisters, Barbara Ross-Littles of Victoria, TX, and Birdie Ross of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Jordan Wright, Christopher Ross, JR, and Chase Ross; mother-in-law, Ardella Moye of Montgomery, AL; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Moye, and wife Janie, of Kinston, NC, and Donald Moye of Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law, Gloria Norris of Dallas, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and four aunts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Harold H Lusk officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 1, 2016, from 10 AM until 11 AM.
