Dudley Cowan

Dudley Cowan, age 86, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1930, in Hiram, GA, to the late Roy Virgil & Ella Mae Estes Cowan, and was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Cowan and James Cowan, and sister, Frances Luca. Mr. Cowan was a United States Army Veteran, and worked as a sheet metal worker for over 25 years.
Survivors include wife of 53 years, Agnes Cowan; son, Jon & Else Rowland of Mableton, GA; daughter, Beverly Kay Nicholas of Woodstock, GA; brother, Robert Cowan of Charleston, SC; sisters,Jean Brasier of FL, and Patricia Owens of FL; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
