Elizabeth C. Johns, age 88, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017. She was born on December 3, 1928, in White, GA, to the late Jackson & Carrie McFall, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Horace V. Oliver, and second husband Everett E. “Dicky” Johns. Mrs. Johns retired from Shaw Industries and also worked at Paulding Nursing Home as a CNA for several years.
Survivors include daughter, Elaine Sysun of Hiram, GA; brother, Hoyt & Alice McFall of Rockmart, GA; sisters, Etta & R.C. Miller of Chamblee, GA, Margie & Roy Gene McArthur of Woodstock, GA; Gladys & J.B. Patterson of Fairmount, GA; and Ruth McFall of Georgia; grandchildren, Charisma Sysun and Eric B. Conkell; great-grandchildren, Vincent Conkell and Britney Brown; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 12 PM until the time of service.
