Elizabeth Paulette "Polly" Milam, age 59, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008. She was born March 12, 1949, in Etowah County, AL, to the late James Arthur Mims & the late Buena Elizabeth Mims. Her sister, Patsy Ruth Milam, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Milam was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Milam of Powder Springs, GA; son, Jack Milam of Atlanta, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Tigree Butcher & husband, Rob of Cleveland, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jerry & Debra Mims of Boaz, AL, and Arthur & Harriet Mims of Boaz, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 3:00pm, from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz, AL.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
