Ellen "Mawmaw" Camp, age 84, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 22, 1936 in Decatur, GA, to her late parents; Jack and Rubye McDaniel. Mrs. Camp was retired from Equifax, where she worked in the accounts receivable department for over 30 years. Ellen attended First United Methodist Church of Dallas. In her free time, she loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and going to the beach. Mrs. Camp loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely and will be missed by all of her loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Harris.
Mrs. Camp is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Bobby D. Camp of Dallas, GA, children; Nancy Thomas of Dallas, GA, Susan Walsh and her husband, Richard of Dallas, GA, Tracee Camp of Dallas, GA, Steve Camp and his wife, Melanie of Dallas, GA, Todd Camp of Social Circle, GA, brother, Billy McDaniel of Conyers, GA, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
In accordance to Mrs. Camp's wishes her body was cremated and a private memorial service will be held due to Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in loving memory of Mrs. Camp.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
