Clara “Eloise” Driskell, age 80, of Hiram, GA. passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Driskell was born on April, 1, 1940 to her late parents; William Simpson and Bobbie Mae Tucker. Eloise worked in the Payroll Dept. of Peachtree Movers for more than 10 years and was non-denomination by faith. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend that will be missed by all who loved her dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Homer Charles Driskell, and sisters; Lemmar Ware, Caroline Kinsey, Sadie Croker, and Irita Tucker.
Mrs. Driskell is survived by her daughter; Teressa and Keith McHann of Hiram, GA., sons; Kenneth and Tammy Driskell of Hiram, GA., Stephen and Billie Jo Driskell of Murrayville, sister; Glenda and Charles Shipp of Powder Springs, GA., brothers; Winfred and Charlotte Tucker of McDonough, GA., Rodney and Rhonda Tucker of Taylorsville, GA., along with 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Driskell will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Golt starting and leading service and Pastor Jimmy Gable closing and graveside. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed from our Facebook page-Clark Funeral Home.
If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Driskell safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
