Emily Bonds Johnson, 64, of Hiram, GA passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. She was born on April 28, 1956 in Powder Springs, GA. She was Baptist by faith. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
She was a retired office manager for BMW Metal Fabrication. She will be remembered for her love of gospel music and being a NASCAR fan.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Daniel Johnson; their daughter, Ginny (Kevin) Parker of Tennille, GA; two brothers, Lamar Bonds of Hiram and Randall (Linda) Bonds of Hiram; and one grandchild, Camdyn Parker.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Katherine Hurst Bonds.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Grey officiating.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing be practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Johnson safe.
