Mr. Ernest "Buzz" Walker, age 79, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2007. He was born on August 26, 1927 in Geneva, AL to the late Comer Ernest Sr. and Effie Lee Walker. He was a radio announcer and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Walker.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Frankie Walker; a son and daughter-in-law, William Ernest and Martha Walker of Forest Park, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and John Mitchell of Dallas, Debbie Walker of Hiram and Misty and Rodney Gravett of Dallas; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. Brad Benson and Mr. Tim Mitchell officiating. The interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
