Esmer Daniel

Julian “Esmer” Daniel, age 85, of Clarkdale, GA passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2008. He was born on August 20, 1923 in Hiram to the late Walt & Rosa Daniel. He was retired from Coats & Clark after 37 years of service and was a custodian at Garrett Middle School in Cobb County. Mr. Daniel was a member of Clarkdale U.M.C. and also attended Clarkdale First Baptist Church. He was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Hiram High School Alumni Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Wynelle Daniel.
Surviving are his daughter & son-in-law, Elaine & Bill Crawford of Lithia Springs; grandchildren, William Crawford of Lithia Springs and Daniel Crawford and his wife, Crystal of Douglasville; a great-grandchild, Rose Wilson of Douglasville; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell McGinnis, Rev. Doc Frady and Rev. Scott Pickering officiating. The interment will follow in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
