With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Ethan Jay Garmon, who departed this life on December 15, 2024, at the age of 25. Ethan was born on June 1, 1999, in Marietta, GA, and was a beloved resident of Aragon, GA. He leaves behind a profound legacy that will be cherished by his family, friends, and community.
Ethan was a dedicated husband to his spouse, Taylor Garmon, and a loving father to his three children: Anniston, Denver, and Georgia. His deep love for his family was evident in all he did, nurturing his twin passions for both hard work and his children. A proud graduate of North Paulding High School, Ethan worked as a foreman in the construction industry for Unity Construction. His unwavering commitment to his profession was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. Known for his hardworking spirit, he poured his heart into everything - whether he was managing a construction project, working in his garden, or caring for his beloved bees.
Ethan was an ardent lover of nature and animals, finding joy in every moment spent outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and gardening, representing his connection to the earth and the simple pleasures of life. Those who knew Ethan appreciated his kind heart, bright smile, and a gentle spirit filled with compassion and love.
Ethan is survived by his adored wife, Taylor; his cherished children, Anniston, Denver, and Georgia; his devoted parents, Scott Garmon and Stephanie Garmon; brother, Alec Garmon; grandparents, Calvin and Cindy Thompson, Jay and Donna Garmon, and Betty Brown; in-laws Brad and Stephvanie Turner; and grandparents Jerry and Debra Turner and Ann Key. He leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held at Picketts Mill Baptist Church on December 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends will gather to honor Ethan's memory. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00 p.m. All who knew and loved him are invited to attend these services to celebrate Ethan's beautiful life and the impact he made in his short time with us.
As we come together to remember Ethan, let us carry forward his spirit of love, hard work, and dedication to family, cherishing the moments we had with him and keeping his memory alive in our hearts.
