Biography Ethel A. Crowe, age 89, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. A native of Paulding County, she was born on December 4, 1917, to the late James H. & Bertha Atcheson. Mrs. Crowe was preceded in death by her former husband the late Paul Gunnell. She was retired from Osborn Hosiery Mill in New Hope and was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey E. Crowe of Dallas; granddaughters, Angie Wingate and Barbara Norris; and many special
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from Clark Funeral Home, on Thursday, May 10, 2007, at 2:00pm, with Reverend Don Voyles and Reverend Durwood Perry officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Leroy Atcheson, Tony wheeler, Johnny Vaughn, Eric Wheeler, Bill Atcheson, David Wheeler, John Vaughn, Jr. and Raymond Gunnell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
