Eva Jewell Hilderbrand

Eva Jewell Hilderbrand, age 94, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She was born on November 23, 1922, in Dallas, GA, to the late Claude & Hassie Mitchell, and was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Denby Hilderbrand; son, Jerry Edwin Hilderbrand, and grandson, Barry Dewayne Warren. Mrs. Hilderbrand retired from Aiken’s Grading and Construction where she worked as a secretary and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.

Survivors include children, Lane & Sharon Hilderbrand of Hiram, GA, Deidre & C. T. Warren of Dallas, GA, and Barbara & Floyd Argo of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Claudia & Glen Smith of Eatonton, GA, Sondra Jones of Hiram, GA, and Marjorie Smith of Dallas, GA; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 3 PM, from Gateway Baptist Church, with Brother C.T, Warren and Mr. Rick Hilderbrand officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. Ryann Cushway, Scott Hilderbrand, Ricky Hilderbrand, Stacy Hilderbrand, Joey Warren, and Cahill Moore will serve as pallbearers. Brad Warren will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 2 PM until the time of service.
