Evelyn Lairsey Brock

Evelyn Lairsey Brock passed away on October 24, 2022. She was born on February 7, 1962 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Mark and Johnnie Mae Lairsey Sr. Evelyn was a devoted member of Aragon United Methodist Church where she faithfully served her Lord and Savior. She was a mother of five children and a grandmother of ten. Evelyn absolutely adored her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite place was the beach and she made plenty of special memories there with her family. While she was not spoiling her grandchildren, Evelyn could be found outside working in the yard. She loved the outdoors and especially her flower garden. Evelyn was a huge fan of Alabama Football and loved cheering "Roll Tide" for every win. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt who will be very missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Chuck Lairsey and Edna Bradley. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Jackie Brock; her children, Kyle Brock, John Keith, Albert "AJ" Brock, Jodie Few, Lisa Nixon; brothers, Mark Lairsey Jr., Lee Lairsey; sisters, Sue Blackstock, Lynn Keener, Terri Shipp, Laura Wheeling; and ten grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Evelyn will be held at Aragon United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 5, 2022 beginning at 2:00pm with Brother Lee Lairsey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made towards the American Cancer Society or American Stroke Association in Evelyn's honor.
