Biography Evelyn Puckett, age 76, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was born on July 5, 1932, to the late Bernard and Jennie Johns. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Puckett and brother, Price Johns. Mrs. Puckett was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dallas.
Survivors include son, Doug Puckett of Dallas; daughters and son-in-law, Lori Smith of Dallas, and Melanie & Roger Blalock of Dallas; sisters, June Fuller of Dallas, and Thelma Crabb of Dallas; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Gregg Potts and Reverend George Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 6, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
