Florence McTyre Croker

Florence McTyre Croker age 87 of Heflin, Al., formerly of Hiram passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007. She was born July 31, 1920 in Powder Springs, Ga., daughter of the late Lewis M. McTyre and Orbia Croker McTyre, preceded in death by her husband John Quinton Croker Sr., she was a secretary for Hiram Feed Mill , and worked for Coates and Clark, a homemaker and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survived by Sons John Quinton and Mary Croker Jr. Heflin, Al. Edward and Patricia Croker, Heflin, Al. Sisters Denise Atkins, Marietta, Elaine and Gerald McWhorter, Marietta. 7 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 6, 2007 at 2:00Pm from Macland Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Adams officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home Monday, August 6, 2007 12noon till 1:30PM.
