Floyd “Al” Wiley, age 74, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was born in Percerville, VA, February 12, 1938, to the late, Floyd Alvin Wiley, Sr. and the late, Mary Alvina Peterson Wiley. Besides his parents, Mr. Wiley was also preceded in death by a son, David Baker and daughters, Karen Baker and Debra Cornell. He served in the U. S. Navy and was a route salesman for Budweiser. Mr. Wiley was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Rockmart, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Hyman Wiley; son, Steve Baker of Arizona; daughter, Julie Murphy of Douglasville, GA; brother & sister-in-law, William Wiley & wife, Cleone of Maryland; grandchildren, James Wilson of Cartersville, GA, Christopher Little of Arizonia, Emily Murphy of Alabama and Tessa Murphy of Douglasville, GA; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Wilson of Dallas, GA and Dallas Tidwell of Dallas, GA; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 3:00 PM, from Creekside Pines Chapel in Dallas, GA.
