Forrest Davis

Forrest Paul Davis, age 65, of Attalla, AL, (formerly of Powder Springs, GA), passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Born May 26, 1944 in Atlanta, GA, and preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Paul Davis & Florene Ellis Davis, son, Robert Lee Davis, and sister, Joan Hamby. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He loved fishing, hunting, and dirt track racing and he loved his kids and family. Mr. Davis was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Brenda Gail Tibbitts Davis; son, Forrest Paul Davis, II, of Attalla, AL; brother, Charles Paul Davis & Martha Ann of Lithia Springs, GA; sisters, Rusty & Size Almeida of Cedar Bluff, AL, Carolyn & James Ellis of Powder Springs, GA and Patsy & Emory Page of Florida; grandchildren, Laura Erin Nicole Davis and Forrest Paul Nathan Davis, III; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 28, 2010, at 3:00 PM, from Narroway Baptist Church, with Reverend Todd Tibbitts, Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts, and Reverend Merle Barron officiating. Interment will follow in Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeal home Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
